Bags of all types can be produced with a wide range of features including re-sealable zip strips, one way degassing valves, stand up pouches (SUP’s), quad bags (sealed down 4 sides), flat pouches, retort pouches, pouches with pouring spouts, tear-notched bags, die cut keyholes for “hang sell”, even easy-peel bags. We can make bags that have solid colour(s) on 1 side and clear on the other to display the product inside, totally clear bags or bags that have solid colour(s) both sides. We can make bags & pouches out of a wide range of materials including AL, PET, LLDPE, VMPET, natural kraft and vinyl. Custom printed bags start with 1 colour and can have as many as 8 colours. The cost savings of custom printed bags verse the production and application of paper labels to pre-made bags can be significant. The Custom Printing Production Process

Submitting Artwork

For best results we prefer all artwork to be supplied on CD-ROMs and should conform to the following guidelines:

Adobe Photoshop: Save files as *.PSD files. Please make sure that layers are not merged. Adobe Photoshop CS 1 or more recent
Adobe Illustrator: Save files as *.AI files. Adobe Illustrator CS 1 or more recent
Macromedia Freehand: Save files as *.FH files Macromedia Freehand 9 or more recent

Illustrator and freehand: Please make an outline of the text before the file is sent, in case we don't have the same typeface. We would prefer the complete image files, as we will need to do colour separation. If any image files are attached, the resolution must be at least 300 DPI. (350 DPI is preferred for the best result). Do not only have the images saved as part of the artwork, also save them separately in the same size and resolution as the images in the graphics files.

Corel Draw should be in version 9 or more recent

For custom colours please call us, and provide a colour match formula and/or a colour sample. Please send artwork proofs with the CD ROM. If your designer requests die lines, or pouch lines, please contact us.

Production process and deposit payment for commencement of work

We also have the ability to place the production run with many different manufacturers. This means the manufacturer who has the best combination of machinery, turnaround time, quality control and a great price will get the job. You will enjoy the cost savings thus helping you to grow your business.

Cylinder / Drum charges

These are estimates only and are subject to the viewing of your artwork by the manufacturer. Sometimes complex artwork, close registration or other factors require special processes e.g. laser etching or slight changes to font sizes etc which may result in additional charges. Viewing the actual final artwork is the only way to clarify such issues.
